u need to leave everything as is for the hit
even if you do not change the account holders email, you will still be able to get your mobile key
you NEED mobile key to check into your room without talking to the front desk
hit your hotel of choice and after it is confirmed, you need to go to the contact, change email
its gonna ask you to verify your identity, this is where you need to click, contact support
tell them you booked it because an emergency, house flooding, whatever tell them your phone was destroyed and you cant access your email or phone number...
they will absolutely assist you in changing your number and email
if you opt out of this, bomb the email and number, you will still recieve notifications in the app along with your mobile key 24 hrs before
